Red Sox Jerseys
Red Sox jerseys may sometimes cause confusion among those of you who aren’t members of the Red Sox Nation, which is why we’ve dedicated an entire website to them. Over the years, the jerseys have remained remarkably unchanged; the home Red Sox jersey has its trademark white field with the distinctive red piping about the neck and running parallel either side of the buttons.

Red Sox Home Jersey
The red “Red Sox” letters are lined in dark blue, and run across the chest in an arch. This style and logo has typified the Sox’s home jersey since 1979, and actually goes all the way back to 1933, with the piping around the trim coming and going, according to the styles of the times.
The gray away uniform has red piping on its sleeves, with that same arched “Boston” on the chest. This particular uniform has enjoyed a shorter life-span, being worn since 1990.

Gray Red Sox Jersey
There is actually a third Red Sox jersey. This features red with blue piping about the neck and the sleeves, which also runs down the outsides of the front buttons. The words “Red Sox” are emblazoned in blue lettering with white outlines, across the chest.
The little-known fourth uniform is used only on St. Patrick’s Day, always a huge celebration in Beantown. Fittingly, this is green, featuring the words “Red Sox” in white letters across the front, outlined in red. This alternate Red Sox uniform has a green hat. Red Sox jerseys are cherished by all Red Sox fans, and it is a sin to deface one anywhere in the world, according to the rules of Red Sox Nation.
